Betweeen 2012 and 2015 I worked as a Somali interpreter for the International Committee of the Red Cross. We worked (mostly in prisons) all over – Kismaayo, Beledweyne, Baidoa, Mogadishu, Guri Ceel, Gaalkacyo, Garoowe, Qardho, Bosaaso…

But not many opportunities to do some proper photography – these are just a few fleeting glances…
